Settle is an independent study app for the Life in the UK test, published by CuraeVita. You can contact us at eliviontechnologies@gmail.com.
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, telephone number, location or any other personal information. There is no account and no sign-in.
To remember your progress between sessions, the app saves the following in your device's local browser storage:
This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or accessible to us. Access to your device is governed by its security settings. Clearing the app's data, using "Reset all progress" in Settings, or uninstalling the app erases it permanently.
The app makes no network requests. All content, including every question, study note and image, is contained within the app itself and is available offline. Read-aloud requires a downloaded English voice.
There are none. No advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no third-party code that transmits information about you.
The read-aloud feature uses the text-to-speech engine built into your device. Settle selects an installed English voice marked as available on the device, without a network connection. If no offline English voice is available, you can read the text and install a voice through Android settings. Settle does not record your voice or request microphone access. The speech engine is supplied by your device or its chosen provider.
If you email support, your email address and message are processed to respond to you. Please do not include sensitive information. This public policy is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may process standard website access logs under its own privacy policy. This does not add tracking to the Android app.
The app is intended for adults preparing for the Life in the UK test, which applies to people aged 18 to 64. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
Settle is a one-off purchase made through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your card details. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's privacy policy.
Settle does not send us your app progress. For requests concerning emails you have sent to support, contact the address below. Data stored on your device is under your control at all times through Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date above.
